What are body measurements?

Clinicminds supports several (body) measurements, which you're able to record in the case history and treatment tab. Measurements can be entered by the consultant/practitioner in the clinic or by the patient from home. We currently support the following measurements:

BMI

Weight

Length

Blood Pressure

Heart Rate

Waist Circumference

The BMI is automatically calculated once the length of the patient and the weight are added to the record.

Medical Weight Loss

The complete list of measurements is crucial for clinics and practitioners offering medical weight loss services, including GLP-1 medication.

Export option

These measurements can be exported through our reporting for scientific purposes and clinic management. This allows clinic management to conduct research on the effectiveness of treatments and adjust strategies if necessary.

Set up body measurements

  1. Start by opening the menu > record settings > case history > case history questions.

  2. Select the + icon at the upper right corner to create a new question.

  3. Select the question type "Measurement".

  4. Indicate if answering this question is mandatory.

  5. Indicate if you allow room for explanation or not.

  6. Type the text of the question.

7. Select the measurement to add to the case history tab.

8. Finally, indicate which treatment category this question applies to.

πŸ’‘To add more measurements, repeat these steps as described above.

Reviewing the measurements

After registering multiple measurements, you can view a history of all a patient's measurements, including a graph of the progress over time.

You can also send your patient a copy of the measurement history and graph via E-mail.
