Klarna is a payment method available through our Stripe integration. It lets patients pay for treatments in installments, or "buy now, pay later," instead of paying the full amount upfront. This can also be a good option for patients who don't have a credit card or prefer not to use one.

How to enable Klarna
Klarna cannot be activated by Clinicminds on your behalf. You need to activate it in Stripe first, then enable it in Clinicminds.
In your Stripe dashboard, go to your payment method settings and activate Klarna there. Some payment methods, including Klarna, need to be activated in Stripe before they become available to select elsewhere.
In Clinicminds, go to
App Settings > Integrations > Stripe.In the list of payment methods (Credit/Debit Card, iDEAL, SEPA Direct Debit, Bancontact, EPS, Klarna, etc.), check Klarna and save.
Clinicminds manages which of the activated methods are shown to patients, but the method has to be turned on in Stripe first before it appears in this list. For the full connection walkthrough, see Setup Guide: Connect your Stripe account.
Klarna still not showing up?
If Klarna doesn't appear in the Clinicminds payment methods list after activating it in Stripe, check with Stripe support whether Klarna is fully approved for your account. Approval can depend on your account's currency and country.
