You’re able to send an unsigned copy of consent forms to your patient just after the consultation (actually at the end of the assessment). By doing so, patients will be able to read and review the informed consent prior to their second visit to the clinic.
To send this unsigned copy, after answering all the questions regarding the medical situation and history, continue to the forms tab instead of closing the record as a consultation. Select the applicable consents forms and select the checkbox ‘send forms via email to patient’. Do not check the ‘sign form’ checkbox.
After that, you’re able to close the record as a consultation.
When the patient returns to your clinic, you’re able to duplicate the previous consultation to a new one, review the medical situation and history shortly, continue to the forms, choose the applicable form and click the ‘sign form’ checkbox. Now the patient will be able to sign and continue with treatment.
