When approving online bookings manually, the appointment is pending until approved.

It’s now possible to send e-mail and SMS messages for such pending appointments. These messages are customizable, as are other email and SMS messages.

Set up email and SMS sending for pending appointments

First, you need to activate the option to send an e-mail, SMS, or both when an appointment is pending. To do so, open menu > Clinic settings > Calendar > Online booking settings > Notifications & approval. Next, select the desirable checkboxes as shown in the image below.

Customizing email and SMS context

To customize these messages open menu > Clinic settings > Email & SMS settings > Appointments. Find Online booking pending under the Appointments header and click it.

Customize the context of the email and SMS in the following popup window and click Save when finished.
