The treatment summary is an automatically generated report. This safety report collects information about the treatment and prints this on a PDF file.
When you close a treatment record, this summary is also emailed to the client, in the email the client receives about their treatment.
The summary also includes the drawings the practitioner created in the treatment record, so these drawings are part of what the client receives.
Some clinics want to include these drawings, some don't. Some want to include added treatment amounts and some not. You can keep sending the summary to clients and choose to leave the drawings out.
To select whether you want to include the drawings in the treatment summary, navigate to menu > record settings > records > record defaults. Scroll down to the treatment summary section.
There are 3 options:
Do not include drawings in the treatment summary.
Print the full drawing.
Print the drawing without text.
Select your choice and finalize with the save button. This applies to records closed from that point onward.
