By removing the test data after the trial period, the database is cleaned up, to ensure a fresh start. Open the menu and choose Menu > App settings > account settings. Finally click the remove test data link and choose which data to remove.
There are three options for removing data. Here’s how it works:
1. Remove all patients and settings The most drastic option. Removes all patients (including their records, appointments, and invoices) and all settings: memos, prices, record settings (treatment categories, discussion points, medical questions, and forms), and clinic settings (locations, referrals, payment methods, and email templates). Tax rates and users are not removed.
Note: this also removes the default start settings provided by Clinicminds, such as medical questions. Only use this option after consulting with Clinicminds.
2. Remove all patients Removes every patient from your Clinicminds account — including their records, appointments, and invoices. This applies to both the 4 Clinicminds demo patients and any real patients you may have already added. All settings remain intact.
Use this option only if you are certain that no real patients have been added yet, or if you want to start completely fresh with patient data.
3. Remove selected patients ✅
Recommended Removes only the patients you select, including their records, appointments, and invoices. Use this to remove the 4 Clinicminds demo patients and any test patients you created, while keeping real patients you have already added. This is the recommended option if you have already started adding real patients.
