Interactive Drawings on Patient Photos
This completely redesigned feature is an essential addition to Clinicminds. It offers new possibilities for consultation and record-keeping. While it may sound simple, its value lies in enhancing the consultation process and empowering patient engagement.
Available across various modules—such as case history, treatment plan, treatment, after-treatment, and inspection—it allows users to annotate patient photos to indicate problem areas, performed treatments, and observed changes or improvements.
These drawings are visible in-app and seamlessly included in relevant record PDFs!
Why is this such a potent tool?
Psychologically, patients often perceive their faces differently on a screen compared to a mirror. Seeing themselves in a photo can evoke a more objective response, helping them better understand their aesthetic concerns or challenges.
This makes the drawing tool a powerful consultation aid. It enables practitioners to clearly highlight areas of interest, propose solutions, and facilitate productive discussions. This feature enhances communication and builds trust and clarity between patients and practitioners.
Compliant Invoicing for Insured Care (the Netherlands)
From January 1st, 2025, practitioners offering skin therapy treatments eligible for reimbursement by health insurers in The Netherlands must provide patients with invoices that comply with specific formats.
We have worked diligently to ensure this feature will be available on time to support practitioners with this significant change.
Practitioners must configure specific settings to activate and optimize this functionality. More information will be provided soon to guide users through this setup process.
While the feature is ready to meet initial requirements, we recognize that adjustments or enhancements may be needed as we gather feedback and observe its use in practice. We are committed to refining the tool over time to ensure it meets your needs and remains compliant with evolving standards.
Essential Enhancements for a Better Experience
Complete Translation: New features were initially available only in English during development. However, the entire front end, including the planner, QMS, and more, is fully translated into all supported languages, ensuring user accessibility.
Emergency Contacts: We’ve added the ability to record emergency contact information in patient profiles. This vital feature is especially valuable for clinics performing invasive treatments, providing an extra layer of safety and giving patients peace of mind knowing someone can be contacted in case of an emergency.
User Filter for Reports: The “Records” report now includes a user filter, allowing clinics to generate reports filtered by specific practitioners for more tailored insights.
Improved Calendar Refresh: Significant enhancements were made to the calendar’s background functionality. The calendar now automatically reloads and updates in real-time after any changes, ensuring users always see the most accurate and up-to-date information without delays.
2FA Bug Fix: Account security is our top priority, and we want to emphasize that no security flaws exist. However, some users experienced a bug that caused login issues shortly after activating 2FA. This issue has been resolved, and 2FA now functions smoothly, providing additional security for your accounts.
