We're excited to announce the upcoming release of Clinicminds version 5.8! 🚀

This update is packed with new features, integrations, and improvements designed to enhance your clinic's efficiency and patient experience.

Here's a detailed look at what's new:

Calendar & Online Scheduler Enhancements

Our calendar and online scheduler are now even more user-friendly and efficient:

  • ICS Attachments in Confirmation Emails 📆: Patients can now easily add their appointments to their calendars, complete with clinic location and other valuable details (like the URLs to submit data before the appointment, reschedule/cancel the appointment, or join a video appointment).

  • Country Flag Display 🇳🇱: Entering phone numbers is now easier with country flags, helping expats and international patients switch prefixes effortlessly.

  • Improved Navigation ⏪: The online scheduler's browser back button allows you to return to the previous step without confusion.

Enhanced Exports & Reports

We've made significant updates to our reporting tools, providing you with more flexibility and detail:

  • Discount Code Redemptions Report: Analyze discount code usage with detailed patient and redemption information, including the discount amount and invoice total. These details are helpful when analyzing the results of using discount codes in marketing campaigns.

  • Anonymized Data Downloads: Download most reports without patient/contact details for broader data analysis.

  • Inclusion of Patient Sex in Reports: Analyze patient data with a new column for patient sex, distinguishing between male, female, and other.

  • “Prohibit Online Bookings” Column: The new column in the “patients” report can be filtered to quickly identify patients prohibited from making online bookings.

  • Improved Full Patient Export Performance: Faster and more reliable patient record exports, especially for patients with extensive histories.

Additional Improvements

  • Giropay Payment Method Removal: Giropay is being deprecated and will no longer be available through Stripe after June 2024.

  • Warning for Treatment Deletion: To prevent accidental data loss, you will receive a warning when deleting a treatment from the settings window.

Technical Improvements & Bug Fixes

We're continuously working to improve our software and provide you with the best possible experience. Here are the technical improvements and bug fixes included in this release:

General

  • Updated Browser Requirements: Improved security and technical opportunities by updating our browser requirements.

  • Fixed Permissions Bug: Users with very limited permissions can now access the application without issues.

  • Stepper Inputs: We fixed the issue preventing changes to stepper inputs (number fields with minus/plus buttons).

  • Date/Time Picker Display: The display of date/time pickers has been fixed by removing an incorrect arrow at the top.

Calendar

  • Video Appointment Button Visibility: The video appointment button is now visible for assigned users without calendar management permissions.

  • Location Name in Warning Messages: The location name is now correctly displayed in warning messages during appointment scheduling.

  • Multi-day Block pop-up: We fixed a bug that sometimes prevented the popup from opening when clicking a multi-day block from the calendar.

Home Signing

  • Form Signing Order Fix: We fixed an error when a patient signed forms from home and submitted a later form before submitting the first one. This fix ensures the proper sequence of form submissions is maintained, preventing errors.

  • Double Submit Error Fix: We resolved an issue where a patient signing forms from home could encounter an error if they quickly pressed the submit button twice. This fix ensures that forms are submitted correctly, even with rapid button presses.

  • Error on Form Submission: Patients can now sign and submit forms from home without errors, even when submitting multiple forms.

Patient Details and Records

  • Permanent Deletion of Records: Patients or records can now be permanently deleted from the trash manually or automatically after a month.

  • Correct Date of Birth Display: Historical dates (before 1945) now display correctly in all timezones.

  • Empty Text Section in Patient Details: We resolved the issue causing an empty text section when no email address or phone number is registered.

  • Gift Card Sales Fix: Selling gift cards in treatment records is now fully functional.

  • Custom Text Questions Saving: We fixed an issue that caused red warning texts when saving custom text questions in records.

  • Uninvoiced Records Visibility: Fixed the issue of uninvoiced records appearing twice on the dashboard.

Staff Planner

  • Editor for Repeating Working Times: Fixed an issue where the editor remained open after editing a repeating working time in the planner.

Reports

  • Product Sales Report Filter: The "user" filter works correctly in the "product sales" report.

  • Treatment Data Report Fix: Rows no longer disappear in the "treatment data" report for treatments created in the settings after a treatment record is opened.

Online Scheduler

  • Improved Error Messages in Online Scheduler: Clearer messages for invalid mobile numbers, ensuring patients know why their input is incorrect.

  • Resolved Empty Text Block Issue: The online scheduler no longer shows an empty text block for services that cannot be booked.

  • Practitioner Booking Fix: We fixed a bug that prevented bookings through the online scheduler when it was opened for a specific practitioner via the URL, while the clinic's settings disallowed patients from choosing a practitioner during the booking process.

  • Online Scheduler Service Booking: Patients can no longer proceed with booking services that cannot be booked online, preventing errors later in the process.

  • Rescheduling Registration Fix: Rescheduling via the 'next availability' button is now correctly registered as a rescheduling, not a new booking.

  • Invalid URL Handling: The online scheduler shows clear error messages for invalid URLs or when the clinic disables them.

  • Appointment Rescheduling URL Error: Patients can now reschedule or cancel appointments without errors, even if the particular practitioner or location was deleted.

Product sales

  • Clear messaging and confirmations: We fixed a bug that shows a confirmation alert in a confusing way when opening the menu from an unsaved product sale.
