There are various reasons to disconnect your Stripe account from Clinicminds:
You connected the wrong Stripe account to Clinicminds. In this case, you should first disconnect the old/wrong account, before you can connect the new/right account.
You want to stop using the Stripe integration in Clinicminds.
You are going to stop using Clinicminds.
This article explains how you can disconnect or close your Stripe account from Clinicminds in such situations.
If you want to keep using Stripe without Clinicminds, you can create a new Stripe account that operates independently. The steps to create a new account can be found in this Stripe article. We recommend doing this prior to disconnecting or closing the old Stripe account.
Disconnecting Clinicminds from your Stripe account
To disconnect Clinicminds from your Stripe account, please follow these steps:
Open the Stripe dashboard
Ensure you are using the right account (you can switch accounts with the dropdown in the top left)
Under “Connect Extensions”, find “Clinicminds”, and click on the button on the right to disconnect (revoke access)
If you are not able to disconnect Clinicminds from your Stripe account using the steps above, please contact Clinicminds support so we can disconnect it from our end. Please include your Stripe account ID in your request (you can find it in Settings > Business > Account details).
Closing your Stripe account
Alternatively, if you no longer need the Stripe account created for Clinicminds, you can close it. If you created multiple Stripe accounts, it’s possible to only close the account created for Clinicminds, and keep the others.
Important: Closing a Stripe account is permanent and cannot be undone. Before closing your Stripe account, any outstanding payments or disputes will need to be resolved.
