Diagnoses let you record a formal diagnosis in a patient's record during a consultation. You set up the list of available diagnoses once, and practitioners then select from that list while working in a record.
Where to find this setting
Add a diagnosis
Click the plus (+) icon in the top right corner.
Under Treatment categories, select the categories this diagnosis applies to. Use Select all or Deselect all to speed this up. The diagnosis is only shown for records of the selected treatment categories, and one diagnosis can be linked to multiple categories, so you do not need to create duplicates per category.
In the Diagnosis field, enter the name of the diagnosis, for example "Axillary hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating in the armpits)".
In the Code (ICPC/ICD) field, optionally enter the corresponding ICPC or ICD code, for example "R61.0".
Click Save.
Edit or remove a diagnosis
Click an existing diagnosis in the list to open it. Adjust the fields and click Save, or click Remove to delete the diagnosis.
How diagnoses appear during a consultation
When a treatment category is selected in a record, the diagnoses assigned to that category become available for selection. A selected diagnosis is shown in the patient's case history window.
