Learn why there's a difference between the cash register and invoice.

When using the Cash register, you might be a bit confused when you see ‘Outstanding’ on an invoice despite it already being paid.

Usually, this happens when you have the date set on the day that the outstanding invoice was made, notice how this example has the date on ‘Wed 24-08-2022’, but in this sample scenario, the outstanding payment has already been made.

Once you change the date to when the outstanding payment was made, you should then see that the updated invoice is there:

If you’d like to see if there are any outstanding invoices left, it’s best to go to ‘Invoices’.
