It can be very convenient to review your patient appointments in one calendar with, for example, your private appointments. To do so, you need to subscribe to your Clinicminds calendar feed.

Important: Please keep in mind this feed syncs one way. This means that all changes made to the Clinicminds calendar will reflect and synced to your feed and your device.

To subscribe to your feed, open the calendar view:

📅 Select the correct practitioner or location

In the top-left corner of your calendar view, use the dropdown menu to:

  • Select the correct practitioner

  • Optionally, select a location

Selecting a practitioner filters the calendar to show only their appointments.

Selecting a location will display all appointments scheduled at that location, regardless of practitioner.

This helps ensure you’re viewing the most relevant schedule for your needs.

Access the Subscription Option

Click the three dots in the lower-right corner of the calendar view.

Subscribe to calendar

Click “Subscribe to calendar” from the dropdown menu.

Copy the calendar URL

A subscription URL will appear. Copy this calendar URL.

Paste the URL into your calendar app

Open your calendar application (e.g., Google Calendar, Apple Calendar iCal, Microsoft Outlook etc) and follow the app’s instructions to subscribe using the copied URL.

✅ Make sure to set the correct user rights

When assigning a user role to a user (practitioner) account, ensure you select the appropriate permissions. For example, to allow external calendar access and sharing of patient details, enable:

  • Access calendar externally through feed

  • Include patient details in feed

These options are located under the Calendar section in the user role settings (see image above). Always verify the selected checkboxes correspond to the responsibilities and privacy requirements for each role.

Reset calendar feed

If one of your users accidentally loses or shared their calendar feed URL (which provides access to your appointment data), you can invalidate the calendar feed URLs of specific users easily. Therefore, reset the calendar feed URLs of this specific user (which can be found in the user account settings).
