Clinics may want or need to send (clinic) brochures or even (manufacturer) product brochures to patients.

Let’s have a look at some examples:

  1. A clinic performing facelifts consults its patients about their procedure. After consulting the patient, they would like to send the patient a leaflet which is specifically designed in the style of the clinic. This PDF leaflet describes the full procedure and process.

  2. A clinic performing all kinds of aesthetic treatments is interested in sending their patients the (manufacturer) product brochures of the fillers they will use or used during treatment.

  3. A clinic that consults patients for blepharoplasties is interested in sending their patients information leaflets during the process of scheduling the procedure date. These leaflets describe e.g., what patients can expect and what they should prepare before the procedure (think of cool-packs, etc.).

Summarizing, this feature offers clinics the possibility to send PDF brochures during scheduling appointments, at the end of a consultation and immediately after treatment.

There are numerous situations in which it could be desirable to send self-made brochures or (manufacturer) product brochures to patients.

Upload PDF to Clinicminds

First, upload the PDF brochure to Clinicminds. Open menu > Record Settings > Treatments and Products > Brochures.

Select the applicable category, name the brochure and select the PDF file for upload.

After uploading your PDF brochures, they will show as a list in the brochures window.

Send PDF brochures

It is possible to send a brochure while scheduling an appointment, after a consultation and after treatment.

During scheduling

Open the brochures list in the pop-up and select the applicable brochure(s).

After a consultation

Click the ‘send to patient’ button. Open the list of brochures. Select the applicable brochure(s).

After a treatment

Click the ‘send to patient’ button. Open the brochures list. Select the applicable brochure(s) and hit save. This is the same procedure as for consultation.

Sending brochures by default

You can also select which brochures should be sent by default during appointment confirmation. Go to menu > clinic settings > appointment defaults, select a treatment category that has a brochure linked to it and select the checkbox of the brochure.
